We've found a new date for vibe. Ripley events - they are now every last Friday of the month! We're kickstarting 2009 with a new 'Skittles' themed ridiculously-cheap-pdrinks-promotion to save you a penny or two and a better deal for your ticket which stays at £4 upon entry to QUBE, but now entitles you to FREE entry to MATRIX where, on the 30th of Jan, Amber Sound DJ Danny Nightingale will be spinning the tunes.
Tickets for this event are now on sale! We also have confirmed to pay: Dave Fraser and Band, The Requisite, Standing Stones and Left Hand Drive to headline. This event is supported by Matlock Mercury.

The next 6th Form Party in Matlock is going to be made even better as it will be joining forces with Y Not Festival: UV RAVE. The now famous UV Rave that takes place at Y-Not Festival every year has kindly said they will love to take part in the 6th Form UV Party. Meaning Y-Not Festival will be sending their best DJ to do the last hour between 12 and 1am.

Peak Promotion will be organising the first of an annual Christmas Event with live music at the Wirksworth Leisure Centre! As this will be a family event we invite the whole of the Wirksworth community to come along! More details will follow on the Events page so keep checking back!
We've had a lot of support from the Matlock Mercury newspaper in the past, but just recently they've been even kinder to Peak Promotion. The BATTLE of the BANDS: FINAL event is now officially supported by the paper and will have a double spead feature the whole BATTLE of the BANDS event itself.

It's come to that time where many bands have battled their way to be in the final for a chance to open the Y-Not Festival which this year is headlined by Mystery Jets.
The Final of the Y-NOT FESTIVAL BOTB is to take place behind the Lime Kiln in Wirksworth. With a capacity of 500, BBQ food and marquee PLUS James Warner Prophecies playing to finish off the event, this will be the biggest gig happening in the area during the whole of this year, expect brilliance!
MatlockLive! consists of a group of local professional and community arts organisations and individuals from the Matlock area who are committed to extending and building an interest in the visual and performing arts.
Peak Promotion was approached by Turn it Up! to help promote an event as part of MatlockLive!
Peak Promotion are helping to promote Middleton's first ever Festival. Run by the owners of The Rising Sun pub. There will also be folk singers, acoustic acts. The whole thing will take place outside with proper staging, lighting and sound.
With local acts such as Candy Apple Sour and Serotonin and a host of Derbyshire brewing companys on board this festival could get messy! Next year should be bigger and better!
This year Peak Promotion have organised a Battle of the Bands competition in conjunction with Y-Not Festivals. Around nearly 200 bands have entered and 60 were chosen to play at 10 heats in the first round. 20 bands from the first round will then advance 4 heats in semi finals.
The final few bands will then go on to play at an open-air event (to be announced soon on www.ynotfestivals.com/battle) where the winner will open the Y-Not Festival on the 1st of August!
